Window, Garage, legendary Dojo Studios…. light is light. This is a quick breakdown of a go to lighting set up.
The idea is to outshoot the ambient light and add a key light on top to pop the subject. I love shooting under 200SS because it allows me to have more control of the ambient light, more control over contrast, shadows and on top of that I don’t need HSS and I don’t need a ton of power so regardless if it is reflected light, an AD200, AD300, Pro Foto or Speedlight or flashpoint I can operate by the same principals.
