Case Study
Excel Golf has spent more than 13 years developing young golfers through discipline, life skills, etiquette, environmental awareness, and competitive play — building one of the most influential Black youth golf pipelines in the region.
Jiveshot Media serves as Excel Golf’s long-term visual storytelling and brand documentation partner, working directly with the executive board to translate their impact into a powerful, year-over-year visual record.
Rather than isolated event photography, Excel Golf now has a living archive — a consistent, high-end visual narrative that shows how young golfers evolve into leaders, competitors, and culture-bearers.
These assets power:
This partnership ensures Excel Golf’s legacy is not only preserved — but positioned for the next generation of supporters, students, and sponsors.

Excel Golf
Our team is built from D1 golfers, professionals, parents, and community leaders — people dedicated to growing the game, removing barriers, and creating real access for anyone searching for a sport to love.
We show up consistently — two times a week, four weeks a month — in the winter, spring, summer, and fall. That rhythm is intentional. It’s how you build skill, confidence, and belief over time.
Excel is more than golf. It’s excellence in the community, 24/7 — discipline, mentorship, sportsmanship, and a culture that teaches young people how to carry themselves in life, not just on the course.
The mission is simple: remove barriers, raise standards, and make sure every young person who wants a pathway into the game can find one.
Field Experience
We brought our students and families to Caves Valley to experience championship golf at the highest level — walking the course, following elite players, and seeing what excellence looks like up close.
The kids followed the best players in the world from tee to green, watching how championship golf is actually played — the routines, the decision-making, and the precision that separates the great from the elite.
Seeing stars like Rory McIlroy, Scottie Scheffler, and Rickie Fowler in person turned highlights into something real. What they had watched on screens became something they could feel, study, and imagine themselves growing into.
And it wasn’t just the kids. The parents were right there with them — sharing the excitement, the conversations, and the joy of watching world-class golf together.
Days like this don’t disappoint. They deepen love for the game — across generations.
The Course
The game isn’t only something you play. It’s something you return to — a ritual of time, conversation, and becoming.
Getting out on the course matters. Learning the game matters.
Time with your friends. Time with your family.
As the sun sets, Sunday after Sunday, the game brings us into a ritual — of time, of presence, of laughter, of quiet focus. Of joy and blissful misery.
And still, the game brings us back. Time and time again. For the love of it.
Field Experience
We brought our students inside the ropes at Robert Trent Jones Golf Club to experience elite golf in a modern, high-energy environment — where competition, culture, and access converge.
The kids met players, followed the best golfers in the world hole-by-hole, and watched how championship-level golf is truly executed — from preparation and pace to shot-making under pressure.
LIV’s team format added another dimension: music on course, crowd energy, and the celebrity presence that brings a broader culture into the game. That atmosphere matters — it reshapes how young players relate to golf, making it feel modern, alive, and accessible.
One of the most powerful moments came when they met Bryson DeChambeau — fresh off winning the U.S. Open and capturing the world’s attention with his viral hole-in-one over his own house. For our kids, meeting a hero in real life — and being met with generosity and authenticity — made the dream tangible.
Experiences like this don’t just create memories. They change how young players see their future in the game.
Field Experience
We brought the kids to Congressional to see excellence up close — not through a screen, but in real life. It was a masterclass in composure, strategy, and what it means to grow with the game.
They met players. They walked with the best in the world. They saw how it’s supposed to be done — the pace, the routine, the decision-making, and the calm under pressure.
But what made this day different was the connection across generations. Some of the names were players their dads told them about — the legends they first met through 720p YouTube highlight reels.
Seeing those same players compete in person made the lesson permanent: golf is a game that grows with you. Golf is a game for life.
